One in six people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is one of the UK’s largest voluntary sector providers of services for disabled people. Our services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship. Since 2008, our international development programmes have supported over 23,000 children in school and over 26,000 disabled adults into employment across Africa and Asia.

We are looking for a proactive fundraiser to join our new Legacy Hub which brings gifts in wills marketing, administration and in-memoriam giving, together in one team. Reporting to the Gifts in Wills Manager you will be equally at home project managing our annual Legacy appeal, planning and delivering the supporter reception programme or working with a copywriter to create our newsletter. As a people-centred person, with excellent written and verbal communication, your stewardship skills will be second to none. We have an ambitious and varied marketing programme so being a team player is essential.

Gifts in wills represent 42% of our voluntary income, amounting to £6m every year on average. Our aim is to maintain and grow this income to ultimately benefit future generations of disabled people.
