The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. The Outreach Executive supports The Trust's mission 'to help disadvantaged young people in the UK to change their lives and get into work, education or training' by:

  • Delivering excellence for young people
  • Supporting young people achieve positive outcomes in the best and most effective way by referring a young person to the programme or support that is relevant for them
  • To support and grow the Prince's Trust reputation within the youth sector

Tasks and responsibilities include recruiting young people for The Trust's programmes and creating, managing and sustaining effective relationships with referral agencies. You will also be required to deliver engaging and interactive recruitment information sessions for young people.

You will possess great organisational and interpersonal, skills together with excellent written and verbal communication and IT skills.  An ability to work with a wide range of organisations along with excellent planning and organisational skills are essential. Recruitment of programmes will be across the North Region (Bury), so the ability to travel and attend occasional overnight stays are essential.

This position will require an enhanced DBS certificate. Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us.  This will depend on the nature of the position and the circumstances and background of your offences.
