Job Description

CDEC is a small charity with big ideas, acting locally on global issues, and we are seeking to expand our team, by appointing a Fundraising Officer and a Communications Officer.  These are both part-time and could be carried out by the same person.

Our vision is for Cumbria to be characterised by people and organisations who actively work together towards a fair and sustainable world.  We are proud of the fact that we strive to do, and see, things differently. Fairness and sustainability are principles that underpin what we do, but more importantly, how we do it. We welcome new ideas, and challenges. 

The purpose of the role(s) is to seek and secure funds to support CDEC's core activities of educating for a fair and sustainable world, and to lead and co-ordinate our growing network of global citizenship partners, both within and beyond the education sector.
