Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Lead

Job Description

LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers. 

Fixed Term Contract for approximately 9 months to cover maternity leave

37.5 hours per week

Are you experienced at managing a trust fundraising portfolio and able to demonstrate a record of securing funds?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

In this exciting role, you will lead our trusts and grants income stream by supporting our existing funders and growing our portfolio of contacts and sources of charitable funding.  This is an opportunity for you to be a custodian of our highly successful campaign. 

To succeed in this role you must have experience of researching a range of available sources to maximise the opportunity to gain funding success coupled with writing compelling bids by creatively addressing each funder with an individual, tailored approach.  The ability to work in a planned and structured way is essential as are having a high level of attention to detail and being able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
