We are looking for two regional fundraisers based in England. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications in HQ Peterborough you will develop income across your designated area from the Community at large. You will be supported by fundraising staff based in Peterborough and work closely with other fundraisers in the field and support staff.  

You will grow income through ethical, legal and relational fundraising methods.

You will have at least two year’s experience in fundraising. You will be proactive, and be able to network and secure f2f meetings as a rule in order to pitch and engage supporters. You will also build long term relationships with the stakeholders you manage.

Using Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce you will manage prospects and donors and develop pipelines in order to deliver income.  

You will be given specific targets to raise for core services as well as secure funding for special projects, and will work across all avenues of fundraising (community; corporate etc.) to achieve this.

Shine’s USP are ten virtual balloon races a year. A small sales team based in Peterborough generate £840K per year garnered from a high number and wide range of companies. In order to enhance and maximise income, you will work with sales team leader, in cross selling products and engaging staff within companies based in your area with the long term aim of securing Corporate Agreements with companies with synergy and CSR policies in line with Shine and the cause.

There will be opportunities to travel throughout your area as you develop income, working with fundraisers in the field and services staff. You will be expected to visit HQ for team meetings.
