The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

We are seeking a committed individual for 21 hours a week to manage a high performing public sector team in the region focused on maximising The Trust's income from contracted / government funders across London and parts of the South East. This is an exciting opportunity to lead on developing and sustaining strong relationships with existing and new public sector funders to develop income streams that will enable The Prince's Trust to support more young people.

It is a varied post for which we are seeking a self-motivated experienced leader who has the ability to think creatively and deliver strong results. We need you to be an enthusiastic and resilient individual with strong business development experience and an excellent knowledge of the public sector. Outstanding relationship building, communication and organisational skills are essential as is a solutions focussed approach.

You will be based at our Head Office near Liverpool Street in London, working with a strong team of colleagues across the South region, and liaising closely with a range of internal stakeholders including national Fundraising teams and Operational colleagues. The role will require some travel across London and parts of the South East.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
