Home-Start is a federated network of local charities which provide home and community based support for families and children.  Over the past four decades Home-Start has supported over a million children and has become one of the leading family support charities across the UK.

This is a senior role and the successful candidate will need to have demonstrable specialist expertise in this area.  The ability to research, draft and write successful proposals, together with building partnerships with other voluntary organisations and with our local Home-Starts are also key elements of this role.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving excellent standards of supporter care and compliance with relevant statutory requirements and industry standards.  Up to date knowledge of policy and funding changes is therefore essential.  A further key responsibility of this post is to develop Home-Start UK’s grant monitoring and reporting system and therefore a good understanding of fundraising customer relationship management systems, in particular Raizers Edge, is desirable.

This post can be based at our Home-Start UK office in Leicester or home-based (with regular attendance at the Leicester office)

This is an exciting time to be joining Home-Start as we continue to grow and diversify our grant and contract income.  If this sounds like your type of challenge we would love to hear from you.

Closing date for applications: 14th July 2017
Interviews will be held at the Home-Start UK office in Leicester on 21st July 2017.
