As a Channel Manager you will lead a team responsible for the delivery of 60k new regular donors to the charity.

The primary focus of the role is to manage our professional Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising agencies, managing spend and income budgets, performance and productivity levels and contractual agreements.

You will be responsible for:

-  Managing F2F fundraising supplier relationships, dealing with any performance issues and driving continual improvement whilst ensuring all agencies are legally compliant
-  Management of budgets in excess of £10million
-  Management of all Face-to-Face fundraising complaints, ensuring all necessary processes are in place, monitoring performance of all channels, ensuring consistency across investigations and being the escalation point for serious complaints
-  Developing relationships across the wider organisation including Supporter Care, Communications, Finance, Community Fundraising and Legal/Procurement, driving understanding of the importance of Face-to-Face fundraising in our channel mix

Key skills/experience:

-  Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
-  Proven campaign management experience and expertise managing multiple agencies across different channels
-  Experience working in a target-driven environment, ability to make and drive through strategic performance-improving decisions
-  Ability to analyse and assess difficult situations and make consistent judgements regarding next steps
-  Ability to motivate and collaborate with varied teams and departments
-  Positivity and resilience, a determination to succeed

Type of person:

Although experience working in the charity sector would be advantageous it is not essential.

Role details;

-  Location: Burghfield Common, Reading.
-  Contract: Fixed-term contract, 12 months (Maternity cover)
-  Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week.
-  Interviews: to be held week commencing 10th July 2017
