Cycling UK’s vision is for a healthier, safer and happier Britain because more people cycle – and we’re looking for someone to help us unlock funding to make that ambition become reality.

As the world’s oldest transport organisation, Cycling UK has been the cyclists’ champion for 139 years. We are the national cycling charity, have 65,000 members, support a network of over 900 cycling groups, campaign for more investment and better facilities for cycling, run award-winning projects, and are one year into an exciting rebrand.

We’re going places – and you could help us on that journey in the newly-created role of Head of Corporate Partnerships.

As we look to reach the UK’s 12 million cyclists and get more people out on their bikes on a daily basis, we’re seeking a dynamic fundraiser to make the case for cycling and establish the charity as a positive, authoritative voice in order to secure funding from a range of sources.

Your expertise, energy and experience will ensure even more people are able to overcome personal barriers to cycling thanks to our local community cycling projects and national programmes such as the Big Bike Revival and Bike Week, as well as champion the interests of all cyclists through our campaigning and lobbying work for cycle safety and infrastructure.

Last year’s rebrand from CTC to Cycling UK provided a solid branding base to work from in placing the charity at the centre of cycling, while creating a clear and compelling reason to join, donate to or support our work. We’re excited by the traction this has created, with successful million pound funding from Government, plus interest and engagement from the cycle trade and business.

Cycling UK is funded by our supporters’ membership donations, local authorities and Government departments. The challenge for our new Corporate Partnerships Manager is to extend these funding streams into the corporate world, both within and outside of the cycling trade. If you have proven success in forging partnerships and income generation, then we need to hear from you!
