Head of Quality & Business Development

RISE is an award winning, leading Sussex domestic abuse charity.  Founded in 1994 RISE provides innovative, wrap-round support to survivors of domestic abuse from crisis through to recovery.   In 2016 RISE won the contract to deliver the Portal Service for survivors of domestic or sexual violence or abuse in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.    We support over 2000 people every year.

RISE is looking for a highly successful strategic thinker to take the lead in Business Development and Quality for RISE at a critical point in our development. The successful candidate will be the strategic lead for the Fundraising, Communications, Research, Monitoring, Data Protection and Volunteering functions of the organisation. Working with the Head of Client Services and Managers they will oversee the management of RISE contracts, service level agreements and grants. With RISE’s Board, Senior Management Team (SMT) and a creative team they will secure RISE’s continued sustainability through: tendering for services, bidding through trust and charities and increasing unrestricted funding including social enterprise development.
