We are looking for a part-time (22.5 hours per week) Individual Giving and Major Gifts Officer.

Fundraising is a new area of development for the charity, and we are looking for someone to take responsibility for developing, managing and implementing all aspects of individual giving, including regular giving, in memoriam, legacies and major gifts, in order to deliver substantial and sustainable income growth. You will be joining the Royal Association for Deaf People at a really exciting time of investment in fundraising and will have a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future direction of what will be a dynamic team.

Entering the charity at this time of growth, you will have influence in the creation of all individual giving systems and processes. The work and responsibilities for this role will develop at a pace in line with the position being new; for example, we anticipate major gifts and legacies will be areas for the role that will develop in time.

Your role which reports directly into the Head of Fundraising, will be significant in increasing income and support in order to grow our services and make them more accessible to local Deaf communities across the country.

Interviews for this position are scheduled to take place on Friday 18th August 2017, though this may be subject to change.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
