 Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people.  Our services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship.  Worldwide, our global alliance of Cheshire partners also supports disabled people into education, and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.

As the UK’s largest charity working in disability, this is a unique opportunity to make your mark through leading our regional fundraising and events.  Leading a staff team of around 16, some based in our head office focusing on national and cultivation events for high net worth organisations and individuals, to our home based regional fundraising teams, working on local fundraising activities and events across the country. You will lead on the development and delivery of our strategy in this area, growing both the portfolio of regional fundraising activity and events

The ideal candidate will bring their exceptional track record of developing and delivering a calendar of diverse events for different audiences and significant expertise in individual supporter and regional fundraising. You will have strong financial acumen as you will be responsible for an income in excess of £3m and £1m expenditure per annum.

With outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills you will have extensive experience of complex project or programme management and delivery.  You will be able to contribute to the wider strategy and corporate objectives of Leonard Cheshire and have the ability to think innovatively and creatively, responding positively to new opportunities.
