Trusts Funding Officer

Our Philanthropic Partnerships team is specifically responsible for all trust, foundation and major donor relationships and income, and some institutional partnerships. The team’s vision and mission is to passionately connect our supporters to the children and communities that we work with, seeking to inspire and motivate them and their giving. It is a friendly and ambitious team that has increased annual revenue from £1.5m in 2012 to £3m in 2017. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Trusts Fundraising Officer to take on a new challenge in a fast-paced, growing team.

You will raise funds from and manage strategic relationships with trusts and foundations. and independently manage an exciting and varied portfolio of existing and prospective funding partners with gift potential of between £10k up to £1 million plus. Our team structure and culture will give you the freedom and opportunity to steer relationships and the strategic direction of your own portfolio, with the support of team managers. You will be working to an individual six-figure income target, and support the wider team to meet our overall income and engagement targets.

You will need to demonstrate experience of preparing proposals and reports across a range of projects, and of face-to-face donor management, including delivering persuasive and professional presentations. With a proven track record of meeting financial targets and securing five-figure plus gifts from supporters, you will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and possess good budgeting and financial management skills.
