Dementia devastates lives. By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won't win. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society will be here for anyone affected by dementia - wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Everything we do is informed and inspired by them.

We are the UK's leading dementia charity. Every day, we work tirelessly to find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia. We provide expert information, training, and support services to all those who need our help. And we are creating a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to work with the Special Events team to lead and deliver Alzheimer Society’s flagship fundraising gala event – the World Alzheimer’s Ball. This is a unique high-end black-tie gala that will be attended by over 300 guests and will raise funds through ticket sales, donations and an auction. This person will be working alongside a committee to manage the project from the early planning stages right through to on the night delivery.

About you
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, creative and highly organised with a strong attention to detail. You will be used to working with a committee of senior volunteers to deliver exclusive events that generate substantial funds with a good ROI and attract an audience of high-net worth individuals and corporate supporters.

Alzheimer's Society is committed to equal opportunities.
