Job Description

The Lyric Hammersmith is one of the UK’s leading producing theatres. The Lyric’s dual commitment to producing the highest quality contemporary theatre alongside nurturing the creativity of young people, and the quality, range and scale of its recently extended facilities, make it unique within the theatre ecology of the UK.

We are now looking for a Development Manager to join our successful Development Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on building and nurturing new and existing partnerships whilst driving a creative programme of engagement and stewardship for fundraising at the Lyric. We believe that this is a very special place where staff, young people, actors and supporters all feel part of the Lyric family. As our departing Development Manager (now moving on to a Director of Development post) said, ‘I have loved being in such a warm and dynamic environment and have developed hugely by working closely with a highly experienced Chief Executive and Director of Development’. This is your opportunity to be an integral player in the Lyric’s future by developing further support and ensuring the Lyric continues to thrive.

For further information and to apply, please visit the Lyric’s website. Deadline for applications: Tuesday 29 August 2017 at 12pm. No agencies please.

The Lyric encourages people from any background to apply for this post. We are committed to creating a workforce which is representative of our society, and to bringing together those with a variety of skills and experiences to help shape what we do and how we work. We are particularly keen to hear from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) and disabled candidates. All disabled candidates who demonstrate that they meet the essential criteria will be invited for an interview.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
