About the role:
Do you have e-commerce, copy-writing and marketing experience and a passion for shopping? Could you inspire Alzheimer’s Society supporters to buy exclusively designed Christmas cards, branded merchandise and assistive products to help people living with dementia from our online shop?
Supporting exciting and ambitious plans for growth your role will be to support, maintain and help to develop Alzheimer’s Society’s trading activities (through its trading arm Alzheimer’s Trading Limited (ATL)) including the online shop, catalogues and related trading activities.
The Trading Team is part of the dynamic and successful Corporate Partnerships Team at Alzheimer’s Society. Your role will be varied and diverse covering all aspects of the day to day running of the online shop and related commercial activities, including administration, monitoring sales and customer behaviour and acting as the first point of contact for customers.
You will be responsible for updating the online shop website with new products and information and you will also assist with photo shoots for new products. A key part of your role will be to assist in the production of catalogues and other promotional material, including email marketing and social media. Providing copy, images and proof reading and feeding back comments and amends to the designer.
We are seeking someone with good commercial awareness, commitment to excellent customer service, a flair for creative copy-writing and experience of e-commerce, analytics and marketing.
To succeed you will need energy and enthusiasm and be able to learn quickly, multi-task and have excellent time management skills. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be self-motivated, with a creative approach to problem solving. Excellent IT skills are essential to the success of this role.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in contributing to dynamic growth and development of Alzheimer’s Society’s commercial business, helping to fund the Society’s work supporting people living with dementia and their carers.
