Children 1st is Scotland’s National Children’s Charity. We help Scotland’s families to put children first, with practical advice and with support in difficult times. And when the worst happens, we support survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events in childhood, to recover.

Are you a self-starter who finds opportunities to continually develop processes?

We are looking for a confident, well-organised and experienced finance administrator to provide administrative support to the Fundraising Department. Someone with meticulous attention to detail who is reliable, numerate and enjoys working as part of a team. You should be confident in the use of databases, excel and word packages and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You will be expected to process and acknowledge donations, maintain procedures, process direct debits, reconcile income, keep accurate records and become competent using our fundraising database as well as other general administrative duties.

This is a permanent part time role of 19 hours per week.

Closing date: Friday 25 August 2017 at noon. It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Wednesday 13 September 2017.
