Dementia devastates lives. By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won't win. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society will be here for anyone affected by dementia - wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Everything we do is informed and inspired by them.

We are the UK's leading dementia charity. Every day, we work tirelessly to find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia. We provide expert information, training, and support services to all those who need our help. And we are creating a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.

About the role
As a member of our high performing Individual Giving team you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of people affected by dementia. You will work closely with the team, assisting in the management of a variety of exciting direct marketing campaigns including; TV, Digital, Virtual Reality, Face to Face and many more!

About you
We are looking for a driven, passionate, highly organised individual, with a keen eye for detail.

It’s a brilliant time to join the Society. Since launching our new brand earlier this year, we are a bolder, more confident organisation. One that challenges and campaigns so that people with dementia are better understood and supported. One that stands up and is noticed. And one that invests in ground-breaking research in the hope of one day finding a cure. Our aim is to reach every person diagnosed with dementia. And you can help us in doing this.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain key relationships with a range of audiences.
- Demonstrable ability to negotiate with and influence others, who may have different priorities, to achieve common goals.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills including a high degree of competence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Alzheimer's Society is committed to equal opportunities.
