One in six people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.

Leonard Cheshire is the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people.  Our services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship.  Worldwide, our global alliance of Cheshire partners also supports disabled people into education and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.

Our new strategy articulates our desire to radically improve the life choices of people with disabilities around the world.

As a vital part of the leadership team in our new Partnerships Directorate, you will provide strategic and effective leadership to the National and International Partnerships team and deliver outstanding results which are of mutual benefit from both existing and new UK partners, delivering value from both gifts in kind and fundraising.  You will also cultivate a portfolio of opportunities to generate income and to support the extensive growth of our international education and access to livelihoods programmes.

With commercial acumen, this new opportunity will excite you if you bring substantial experience of securing significant new business and effective ongoing account management.

If you share a commitment to the values and ethos of our charity, we look forward to hearing from you.
