The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. Key Responsibilities for this role include:

a) To support the Events Manager in delivering a range of events to raise over cGBP 250,000.

b) To provide general administrative support to the Events team in the delivery of major events in Bristol and Cardiff including The Red Dinner (5th October), The Prince's Trust Awards (21st and 22nd November) and An Evening of Art (30th November).

c) To respond to general event enquires received via phone, e-mail and mail, responding to enquirers in a professional and timely manner, and making referrals to other members of the team where appropriate.

d) To process credit card donations, ensuring financial information is handled in an appropriate manner and that appropriate coding is passed to the Supporter Services team.

e) To receive, process and code event bookings and income in line with established processes, logging any bookings in the Raiser's Edge database. Writing personalised acknowledgement letters as appropriate.

f) To assist the Events Team with supporter communications, building relationships with event participants and providing them with agreed fundraising and training information, advice and essential information.

g) To research and secure prizes for event auctions.

h) To maintain the upkeep of our fundraising database - Raiser's Edge.

i) Any other duties within competence as required.
