Kidscan Children’s Cancer Research funds research to discover and develop new, safe treatments for children’s cancer. We’re impatient to improve the outcomes for every family with a child facing a diagnosis – and every day in Britain another six children face this challenge. Our aim is to ensure that every child with cancer can not only survive, but thrive.

We’re looking for a third party fundraising expert, who can recruit and nurture new and current Kidscan supporters.

A natural fundraiser, you’ll be comfortable recruiting new fundraisers, groups, event participants and volunteers. And through your adept stewardship, you'll be great at encouraging them to support us again. Ideally you’ll come with experience of Community fundraising in the North West, and be ready to develop this income stream for an ambitious, small charity.

You’ll be responsible for all our income from third party fundraisers, and will also deliver 1-2 Kidscan events each year. Your key objectives will be to maximise the recruitment of new supporters and volunteers, and to maximise the net income they generate. Success in these two objectives will be delivered through working collaboratively with our small fundraising team.

Reporting to a dynamic Marketing Manager and with close, daily support from the Director of Development, the successful applicant will have broad scope to develop and expand this exciting new role. If you can attract fundraisers to Kidscan, and develop fundraisers into ongoing supporters, please apply.
