About the role

This role sits within a new Fundraising Excellence and Innovation team and will lead on developing a risk and compliance framework across the entire Fundraising Directorate.

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising Excellence and Innovation, other Fundraising Directors and Fundraising Heads of Department, the post-holder will drive forward and embed a culture of continuous and robust compliance, championing proactive, legal, open, honest and accountable behaviours, processes and practices.

You’ll help to transform, embed and monitor our fundraising operations and processes by overseeing the delivery of an inspiring forward-thinking training programme to both internal and external stakeholders such as our agency partners, to ensure we are setting ourselves up to be world class, supporter-first Fundraisers.

About you 

The successful applicant will have extensive and robust experience in strategic thinking, risk-management and compliance planning and development. To succeed in the role you’ll need excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to form productive working relationships with at all levels within the Fundraising Directorate and across the organisation, as well as with key external stakeholders.
