Salary: GBP 28,000 - GBP 34,000 per annum, dependent on experience

About the role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent numerical and communication skills to join our Business Intelligence team. As an analyst in an exciting and thriving BI team, you will support the strategic needs of the Fundraising Division by delivering high quality analysis of information about supporters held within the fundraising data warehouse. You will provide robust, accurate output that leverages supporter data to deliver high-impact insight. By turning data in to actionable decisions, you will play an important role in ensuring that evidence based decision making is embedded into our Fundraising strategy.

Key duties will include data and statistical analysis (including predictive analytics and data mining), trend and benchmark reporting and campaign performance monitoring.

About the team
The role of Business Intelligence Design Developer sits within the Business Intelligence (BI) team in the Fundraising Department. The fundraising department is targeted to raise just shy of GBP 150m in 2017 and the BI team is made up of 18 staff, all working from the UK office in London.

About the person
This is a technical role for which experience in using analytics, visualisation and database management programmes such as SAS, SQL and Tableau is desirable. Previous experience of individual giving fundraising, direct marketing or working within the charity sector is advantageous though not essential.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communications skills and have experience of working to tight deadlines with potentially changing priorities. At the Red Cross we are looking for someone who is pro-active and with a strong track record in project delivery.
