The Elimination of Leukaemia Fund (known as ELF, soon to rebrand as Leukaemia UK), has the ambition to become a national provider of specialist mind and body care for all Blood cancer patients, as well as to continue funding research and facilities in UK hospitals. We have been working successfully for 40 years, and are now looking to expand our small team. 

In the UK, one person every 14 minutes is diagnosed with a blood cancer (there are over 130 different types!). Join us to help make a real difference to the lives of the patients and their families as they go through their devastating illness. 

Job title: Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser 
Location: London – Southwark SE1 
Contract type: Flexible 
Hours per week: 16 hours per week worked flexibly 
Salary: £150 per day (equivalent to £15,600 per annum)

We are looking for an experienced Trust Fundraiser to join our small staff team and make a significant contribution towards our ambitious financial targets, developing and managing key relationships with grant-makers, both existing and new donors to ELF. 

This is an exciting time to be joining ELF, as we implement a brand new grant making strategy and develop our existing programme of Trust fundraising in line with the new projects. 

About you: 

The successful candidate will have considerable trust fundraising experience, with a demonstrable record of working with, and securing funds from grant-making trusts. Building strong relationships, both internally and externally, is central to this role, ensuring our cherished donors continue to receive outstanding care. 

Excellent communication is key: whether writing compelling proposals, presenting financial information or talking about our ambitions for the future, we are looking for someone who can communicate passionately and eloquently about the work and development plans of Leukaemia UK. 

You will be a self-starter, able to work as our only dedicated Trust fundraiser, and have the drive and passion to build our donor relationships. Experience of working with Salesforce an advantage.
