Who are we?

We are a rapidly growing charity seeking to accelerate change for those affected by brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. Our five-year strategy is ambitious and sets out plans to double survival from brain tumours and halve the harm they cause to quality of life.

Our exciting job role!

Our Events team are responsible for developing and delivering the Runs and Challenges and Special Events portfolio, as well as our flagship annual event - The Twilight Walk series. The number of events that we are supporting are growing at a rapid pace and as a result of this exciting period of growth, we need a highly talented and motivated Events Officer to join our existing team.

This role is full time - 37.5 hours and will be based in our Farnborough office. However, due to the nature of the role, travel and out of hours working will be expected.

According to the job description you should also have previous experience of working an Events role, have excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills, the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast paced environment, be opportunistic in your approach and, using your amazing communication skills, ensure that our supporters experience the best possible service. What we'd like to give you:
