Who are we?

We are a rapidly growing charity seeking to accelerate change for those affected by brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. Our five-year strategy is ambitious and sets out plans to double survival from brain tumours and halve the harm they cause to quality of life.

Our exciting job role!

As the Community Fundraiser for the North West England and Northern Ireland (Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, NI), you will support the delivery of our strategic plans and objectives by generating and growing our income through community fundraising activities, raising awareness, engaging people with our work and recruiting and supporting the fundraising of individuals, Supporter Groups, other fundraising groups and small businesses to help build and sustain our supporter base. 

This is role is full time - 37.5 hours; out of hours working is inherent in this role. You will normally be home-based, but must be prepared to travel extensively across your region, with occasional visits to our Farnborough office.

According to the job description you should also have a proven track record in community fundraising (or corporate or events fundraising) with demonstrable experience of working to and delivering targets, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build sustainable relationships with our community of amazing supporters.
