St. Rocco’s Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to join our team. The successful candidate will need the drive and commitment to maximise community fundraising across Warrington.

The role will involve working closely with volunteers and the candidate will require excellent networking and relationship building skills. The applicant will run existing fundraising initiatives and be able to identify new fundraising opportunities. The role will involve negotiating with suppliers and recruiting volunteers for fundraising activities and events. It is important that the candidate has a real understanding of what motivates supporters to raise funds for the Hospice.

About the Charity: St Rocco’s provides a real lifeline for patients and families living with a life limiting illness in the Warrington area. This year has seen an extension of our services into the community; with a Hospice at Home service, a Neighbourhood volunteer scheme and an innovative schools project. Our ambitious plans mean we will need to raise over £3.7 million each year: something we do with huge support from of our local community.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5 days between Monday to Sunday at days and times notified by your line manager. These hours do not include a 1/2 hour unpaid meal break.

There will be travel within the local geographical region therefore a full driver’s licence and own car with a valid motor insurance certificate that shows fully comprehensive business use cover at Class 2 level is required.

The post is not a salary incremental post and pay reviews are at the discretion of the Hospice.
