Fundraising Manager (South West Division)

Position: Fundraising Manager (South West Division) 
Location: Home based in South West Division -this area covers Bristol & Bath, Cornwall, Devon, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £26,951 pa plus car / car allowance

About the Role: 

The Divisional Fundraising Managers provide a key liaison with Hft’s Operations Team. They will form a close relationship with their Operations Divisional Director to identify and, where appropriate, shape priority projects and how we could package them for funders or donors. Those projects are then communicated to the wider team for them to get the relevant level of detail to fundraise for them. 

You will have the opportunity to work with your Divisional Fundraising and Supporter Care Officer to deliver community fundraising activities. You will also work with a supportive and professional team of managers and staff in the Fundraising Department with a high profile across the whole organisation. 

About You: 

The ideal candidate will have substantial fundraising experience or qualifications with a track record of achieving and growing sustainable net fundraising income streams from diverse audiences and activities. An IoF qualification would also be desirable. 

You will have demonstrable experience in volunteer relationship management and fundraising marketing skills and experience of planning and implementation of area work plans and budgets to fulfil organisational strategy. You must also have demonstrable experience in prospect cultivation and of working with other fundraising teams to deliver diverse activities including events, corporate partnerships, trusts, legacy pledgers and key supporter cultivation activities. 

Your proven track record of initiating and building effective and dynamic community relations using your charm and personality but remaining ethical and professional will be valuable, as will your ability to work across an organisation and your skills to establish your professional credibility. 

Additionally you will have experience of using a range of Microsoft Office applications, preferably including knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or other relevant database. A full UK / EU driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel across the UK as/when required and to spend nights away from home on a planned basis. You must also be prepared to work outside of office hours, including some evenings and weekends as the role demands.
