This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supporter Fundraising Officer. 

Compassion in World Farming is the leading international farm animal welfare charity, campaigning to improve the lives of millions of farm animals through advocacy, lobbying for legislative change, and positive engagement with the global food industry. 

In an age where the debate about food provenance, sustainability and safety has never been more important, Compassion’s goal is to combat intensive farming and place animal welfare at the heart of the global food system. 
Position: Supporter Fundraising Officer 
Location: Godalming, Surrey 
Contract type: Full time, Fixed Term Contract 2 years 
Salary: circa £26,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role: 

This new post has been created to deliver key projects that will inspire and engage the existing movement to end factory farming, and mobilise tens of thousands more people in the UK to donate to, and participate in, Compassion’s campaigns to end animal suffering. 

About You: 

The successful applicant will have the ability to oversee multiple projects at time, delivering effective fundraising activities to agreed timescales and budgets. They will have a solid understanding of supporter engagement and direct marketing, both online and offline, and an enthusiasm for delivering a great supporter experience. 

The role will also require strong creative and storytelling skills, to inspire a 21st century movement to end factory farming, the biggest cause of animal cruelty on the planet.
