Peace Direct is looking for a highly experienced Fundraising and Communications leader to help drive innovation and growth in both our income and communications.

As a core member of Peace Direct's Senior Management Team, the Head of Fundraising and Communications will help drive our ambitious growth plans so that we can achieve even greater impact in the coming years.

We aren't just looking for an exceptional fundraising and communications professional; we are looking for a leader who can inspire a team to deliver exceptional results, a creative thinker and skilled communicator, and as well someone who cares deeply about our mission to work with local people to stop violent conflict and build sustainable peace. 

We have a big ambition to change the way the international community responds to violent conflicts around the world, as well as to inspire the general public to support the work of local people on the ground who are working tirelessly to build peace. This is a very exciting time for Peace Direct, as we have been growing at a fast pace over the last few years and are likely to grow even more in the coming years. We are looking for someone who can lead this growth and help us generate substantially more income from a diverse range of sources, as well as help Peace Direct achieve a much greater public profile.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience at a senior level ideally in Fundraising and Communications. At a minimum we are expecting someone with at least five years' experience in Fundraising at a senior level, plus a good working knowledge of digital communications. We are looking for someone with proven leadership skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong grasp of developing and implementing medium and long term strategies. Finally, we are looking for someone who genuinely believes in our mission to stop violent conflict and build sustainable peace and who is excited by the prospect of joining a dynamic and growing international charity.

Peace Direct is an international NGO that supports local peacebuilding in conflict zones worldwide. We work with local organisations in ten countries around the world and aim to support many more in the years to come.
