Hope Health Action (HHA) is looking for a Grants and Trusts Coordinator to support our growing work in Haiti and East Africa.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a passionate team providing life saving health and disability care to the worlds most vulnerable.

HHA is a Christian NGO that supports a range of projects, including a leading 100+ bed hospital in northern Haiti, caring for around 20,000 people a year.  Other activities include a range of programmes in response to the growing South Sudan refugee crisis in Uganda, specifically related to nutrition, health and disability services.

HHA is looking for an experienced and hard working fundraiser to coordinate our growing grant and trust activities.  This will include,

TRUSTS & FOUNDATIONS:  Overseeing and managing HHAs relationships with existing trusts and foundations supporting our work, alongside researching and approaching new trusts and foundations in support of our growing programme goals.

INSTITUTIONAL DONORS:  Working with our programme team to identify and apply for larger funding from groups like DFID, USAID, Comic Relief etc.

More information on this role can be found in the attached Job Description.

This role has previously been fulfilled under a 28 hour per week (0.8 FTE) contract.  However, we would welcome applicants looking for more or less hours, which will be reviewed on the basis of an individual’s prior experience.  The salary range highlighted within this advert (£26-£30K pro rata) reflects the possible flexibility in contracted hours, as well as an individual’s experience.  We are also open to receiving applications from individuals who may require working remotely at times.

As a small organisation, this role will allow someone with the opportunity to make a real and tangible impact, building upon our previous success with groups like USAID, DFID and the UN.  Having just expanded our work into East Africa in 2017, this is an exciting season for HHA.  We look forward to welcoming someone with the vision, enthusiasm and experience to help meet our growing vision.

The client is happy to conduct telephone interviews for overseas candidates.
