The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire is looking for an Individual Giving Manager to lead on the development of high value donors.

Individual Giving Manager – Major Donors
Salary:
£30,000 - £34,000 pa
Hours: Full time
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Cambourne, Cambridgeshire with travel expected across the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire

You will be responsible for securing income by initiating, managing and developing a comprehensive programme of cultivation and stewardship activities for high value individuals, coordinating this with work across other fundraising channels.

Essential Criteria:

  • Significant experience of major donor fundraising, with a strong background in initiating new relationships and securing high value donations
  • Proven track record of making the ASK and cultivating a strong donor pipeline
  • Experience of managing multiple projects, working to strict deadlines and developing tailored, high-quality funding proposals
  • Strong ability to build relationships with colleagues, donors and Trustees
  • Line management experience

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work for a local conservation Charity and make a real impact for local wildlife. All the building blocks are in place to really grow income from high value donors, with exciting conservation projects such as the Great Fen and Nene Valley Living Landscapes as part of the fundraising portfolio. An interest in conservation is preferred but not essential.
