UCL Office of the Vice-Provost (Development)

London

Donor Relations Officer

Full Time

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,014 - £32,830 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

Philanthropy at UCL is about more than raising funds to support projects – it is about breaking down barriers, providing opportunities, and supporting the University to challenge convention, think differently and solve global challenges. In September 2016, UCL launched a bold new global philanthropic ‘It’s All Academic’ Campaign with the goal of raising £600million. At its heart is the radical, disruptive thinking that has been at the core of UCL since our founding in 1826. One year into the Campaign we are delighted to have reached a £344million milestone.

From fighting dementia to ensuring generations of students reach their full potential: It's All Academic. UCL’s ideas and discoveries are shaping the future, improving lives and having a massive impact on London and the wider world. There has never been a more exciting time to join our Development office. We are a team of exceptionally ambitious, creative and passionate individuals who work together to achieve remarkable things with a global impact, and we would love for you to be part of this exciting journey and our success.

This is your chance to play a pivotal role in delivering our Campaign and supporting the growth of UCL’s Donor Relations Team. As the Donor Relations Officer you will collaborate with all teams across the Development Office as well as wider internal stakeholders to support Strategic Philanthropy fundraisers as they work to raise Philanthropic income for priority projects.

As the successful candidate you will have experience of building and developing effective relationships with donors and/or stakeholders. An outstanding communicator, you will be confident working across a broad range of teams and individuals to ensure UCL delivers a sector-leading donor experience for its supporters. You will be a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach to problem solving, and will be passionate about innovation in donor relations more generally.
