Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's, a long term, progressive neurological condition which currently has no cure. Parkinson’s UK is the Parkinson’s support and research charity. Among our greatest strengths are our people, the enthusiasm of our local groups and our supporters.

Our established Regional Fundraising team has demonstrated significant success and commitment to increasing local awareness and income to support the growth of Parkinson’s UK.

Have you got the professional skills to be part of our high performing team?

We are currently recruiting a maternity cover for the role of Regional Fundraiser in the East Anglia (West) and Northants area, covering Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. Within this challenging role, you will work collaboratively with Regional Fundraising colleagues, and other members of the Parkinson’s UK Fundraising directorate, to ensure effective delivery of the regional fundraising strategy in the area.

You must be flexible, confident and self-motivated, with a previous track record of working in at least two fundraising disciplines. You will also have the ability to forge excellent relationships with prospective donors, colleagues, Parkinson’s UK local groups, members and volunteers.

The work is varied and brings opportunities to take on project work; we support entrepreneurship and innovative new ideas within the team.

A proven background of managing your own workload to meet targets and deadlines, while developing regional fundraising activities and the local case for support, is essential.

The position will be based from your home and you must live within or close to the area covered.
