About the role
 
We are looking to recruit a Gift Aid Manager to maximise the income generation from Gift Aid opportunities in fundraising. This is a new and exciting role within our Fundraising directorate and will be responsible for raising the profile of Gift Aid within fundraising as an important source of additional income by ensuring teams are aware of the income possibilities from Gift Aid and are correctly promoting this. 
 
As Gift Aid Manager you'll be responsible for monitoring and improving internal Gift Aid processes, escalating any issues when necessary. You will also ensure compliance with all Gift Aid regulatory requirements. Working with key stakeholders within income generation you'll ensure well managed document management systems are in place for all Gift Aid declarations and audit trails. 
 
About you
 

To be successful in this position you'll have excellent knowledge of Gift Aid legislation and compliance and previous experience of successfully managing end to end Gift Aid processes in a similar large charitable organisation. You'll have demonstrable experience of developing, implementing and managing complex processes within a large organisation. 
 
You'll have strong relationship building skills and be able to work with both internal and external stakeholders. With excellent communication skills, you'll be able to communicate complex information to a wide range of stakeholders including senior management and be confident in delivering presentations to senior stakeholders and board directors.
 
Strong attention to detail and time management skills are essential. Detailed knowledge of financial practices within the charity sector i.e. payment processing and experience and understanding of using database systems and managing data would be advantageous.
