Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Salary scale: St. Richard's Hospice Payscale Pay Point 8 - 12 (£20,284 - £25,887 per annum) dependent on experience, skills and qualifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced, forward thinking Fundraising Team at St. Richard's Hospice as a St. Richard's Hospice Fundraiser working towards the departmental annual revenue budget of £3 million to support our hospice care and and a current public capital appeal for £1.4 million. The role will focus primarily on nurturing our supporters wishing to develop their own fundraising ideas for the hospice, alongside delivering talks and tours to community groups, schools and youth groups. An ability to present proficiently and undertake numerous public speaking engagements is essential, plus an abundance of passion and knowledge to motivate individuals, community groups and companies to support our hospice care.

We are looking for a fundraiser with a minimum of one year's experience working within a fundraising role or someone that has evidence of working within a target-driven environment with a proven track record. A strong candidate with appropriate transferable skills and a good knowledge of Worcestershire contacts, with no direct fundraising experience, may be considered. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and written skills and the ability to converse with individuals, groups and organisations at a variety of levels. Experience of organising or assisting with events is preferential, alongside the ability to be innovative and engage with digital and social media platforms.

If you feel you are a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, ready to take on a new challenge then please consider the job description and person specification and apply online on the St. Richard's Hospice website. For further enquiries please email Rachel Jones, Fundraising Manager.

This role requires the applicant to have their own car and be able to drive. Additionally, weekend and evening work is an essential part of a fundraiser's role.
