We are looking for motivated, dynamic individual with proven experience of designing, facilitating and analysing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods and translating the information to create compelling applications to Trusts and Foundations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to take the next step in their fundraising career with a leading national disability charity.

It is a very exciting time to join Leonard Cheshire Disability and support the delivery of our new strategy.  This role will see the successful candidate work across teams to engage current and potential beneficiaries in local communities, supporting the Trusts and Foundations team to develop bespoke proposals and meetings at all levels of seniority as we continue to grow and reach ambitious new delivery targets.

You will be working in a growing team, raising funds for our UK programmes and projects. In this varied role you will work in our Trusts and Philanthropy team to help implement the organisation’s overall fundraising strategy, playing a key role in supporting Leonard Cheshire Disability’s manifesto to work for a society in which every person is equally valued.

The ideal candidate will be a positive and creative individual who embraces challenges, a diverse workload and is able to represent the charity at the highest levels. With success in cultivating new relationships, as well as managing existing donors and clients, the post holder will also be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role requires a strong understanding of a person-centred approach, an intelligent curiosity, strong administrative and organisational capabilities, excellent writing and computer skills and an ability to work and engage with people at all levels and across different geographies to quickly form relationships with internal and external partners as a representative of the organisation.
