About Mind

Mind’s Fundraising department consists of four fundraising teams – Partnerships Fundraising, Public Fundraising, Workplace Wellbeing and Fundraising Operations, overseen by our Fundraising Director. It generates in excess of £14 million per annum net income for Mind’s work.

Mind’s network of 130+ local Minds covers England and Wales generating £113 million of income in 2016/17, providing support to over 330,000 people. The majority of local Minds’ income is generated from statutory contracts with the NHS or local authorities, though local Minds also raise money through community fundraising, corporate fundraising, grants, training and other trading. Local Minds are supported primarily through Mind’s Networks and Communities department, with support ranging from organisational and business development, grants, service design and lived experience engagement.

About the role

As Regional Community Fundraising Project Manager, you will be part of the fundraising directorate, reporting to the Head of Community & Events Fundraising Marketing & Innovation, working closely with teams across fundraising.

You will lead on developing the Regional Community Fundraising pilot model and project plan. This will include conducting a consultation process with the local Minds in the selected regional clusters to identify their fundraising needs and how these will be met within the options available in the pilot, as well as ensuring the pilot tests and gives robust evidence on the effectiveness of different models of support.

You will provide support to two Regional Community Fundraising Managers who will be responsible for implementing the pilot project plan, working closely with local Minds in the regional clusters.

You will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and ongoing evaluation of the pilots including participating in monthly and quarterly review meetings per regional cluster and analysing quantitative and qualitative KPIs to provide progress reports to the Network Sustainability and Growth Board and Mind senior management.
