We are looking for an experienced Appeals Manager to join our fundraising and communications team.

Appeals Manager
Location: Charity Office, Edgware Road, London W2
Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week (some flexible working and unsociable hours around events will be required)
Salary: Up to £36,000

Purpose of job 
To support the Director of Development and Communications with the planning and successful implementation of the charity’s appeals programme, with the objective of raising over £2 million in 2018/19. The appeals form a major part of the charity’s overall three-year fundraising strategy.

Dimensions and scope of job 
The post holder will be responsible for delivering the fundraising appeals programme, including: producing appeal material (in conjunction with the communications team); creating prospect lists and acquisition plans for major gifts; approaching potential donors; stewarding major donors and community and events fundraisers.

The post holder will also be responsible for achieving their own income targets and objectives, and providing ongoing evaluation reports against agreed milestones and KPIs, as well as ensuring compliance with fundraising best practice at all times in accordance with the Fundraising Standards Board.
