The Special Events Officer will join a dynamic team that has grown dramatically in the past few years as awareness and understanding of mental health has improved. The team is now embarking on further expansion to make the most of the exciting opportunities ahead and to support Mind’s 2021 Strategy.

About the Role

This role is integral to achieving the growth of Major Giving at Mind and you will work closely with the rest of the Major Giving team to help deliver our three-year strategy. You will be someone who is looking to work in an ambitious and busy team driven to provide a high level of supporter care. You will be experienced in planning and delivering events, preferably for a high value donor audience. You will be creative, highly organised and comfortable looking after expenditure and working towards a budget. You will have strong communication skills, be personable and professional, and naturally represent the charity to supporters, stakeholders, external suppliers and volunteers.
