Imagine not being able to move, sleep, or smile. Feeling anxious or depressed and struggling to think or remember. Your body not feeling like your own.  This is what Parkinson's can feel like.

Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson's - a brain condition that turns lives upside down, leaving a future full of uncertainty.

About the role

The Parkinson’s UK Regional Fundraising team are a dynamic and creative large team of highly skilled fundraisers, managers and support team members who aim to raise over £3.75m in 2018 by growing local fundraising and community support in the areas they cover.

The role gives the opportunity to shape local fundraising in the region through the delivery of a bespoke three year plan and gives the post holder the autonomy to take risks and trial new fundraising ideas in order to reach financial and non-financial targets for their area.

The post holder will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other Regional Fundraisers, local staff and the wider Fundraising directorate to provide support and share ideas on developing the local area.  There will be opportunities to participate in project work developing new fundraising ideas and improvements to processes which will have an impact across the Regional Fundraising team.
