This is an exciting opportunity to join Leonard Cheshire - as member of the fundraising department - at a time of unprecedented change for disabled people.

In this varied role you will support the Trusts and Philanthropy team to raise funds for our UK and International programmes and projects.

In this varied role, you will be tasked with carrying out administrative tasks to support the team, updating our database, carrying out research to identify new funding opportunities, and to manage our regular appeals cycle to contribute to the Trust team’s unrestricted income target.

The role requires you to work very closely both across the team and with departments across the Charity.

We are looking for a creative self-starter, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability handle multiple, and varied tasks at the same time. You will be keen to learn and to progress as part of a busy and high performing Trusts and Philanthropy team.

You will be educated to a degree level, with over one year of experience in a hands-on administrative role. You will be confident working with financial data, and proficient in using the whole Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

You will have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to problem solve. You will have good research skills and a genuine commitment to Leonard Cheshire’s manifesto to work for a society in which every person is equally valued.
