Plan International UK strives to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

Our Individual Giving Unit recruits, retains and develops the support of individuals and households in the UK. We have an opportunity for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join the unit and support the recruitment and retention of legacy supporters.

You will manage the implementation of legacy communications, campaigns and stewardship activities, ensuring that activities are executed according to agreed timelines and budget and that supporter experience is at the core of all the work delivered. This will include managing all aspects of campaign delivery, monitoring campaign performance and supporting a programme of legacy stewardship events and activities. This role will also work with other teams across the organisation, embedding the legacy proposition and key messages.

Having worked in a similar role in a marketing or fundraising department, ideally with a focus on Legacy marketing, you will bring proven experience of using relationship fundraising techniques. You will have previously developed direct marketing plans, used digital marketing channels and will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the charity fundraising environment.

The deadline for applications is 9:00am on Tuesday 12 June 2018

Interviews will take place on Friday 22 June 2018

Due to the nature of our work with children, we follow rigorous child protection policies and procedures in our recruitment process. As a result, some of our roles are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee or volunteer; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences.
