Salary: £32,200 to £34,900 per annum, depending on skills and experience

What is the role?

As the Fundraising Development Manager for Midlands, South West & Wales you will lead a team of three across our community fundraising team. You will lead the team to achieve a target of £560,000.

What will I be doing?

You will develop and deliver a multi-year strategy  and you will have a key role in contributing to the development of national regional fundraising, identifying and developing new initiative for the region and oversee the portfolio of events.

You’ll have a hands-on role in delivering and implementing a fundraising strategy. You will line manage three direct reports.

What skills and experience do I need?

You will need to be excellent at building successful relationships, organised and communicate with staff at all levels.  You will have experience of community fundraising and delivered to and exceeded targets. You’ll have created and delivered to a fundraising strategy, line managed a team and organised events.  

Who are JDRF?

We are the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure.  We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. We also provide information for children and adults living with the condition at all stages from diagnosis and beyond.  We give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for an increased focus on and funding for research to find the cure.
