Senior Community Fundraising Officer

We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional who is a confident marketer with a passion for digital. Someone who has an excellent understanding of supporter relationship management and development and who has the drive and enthusiasm necessary to grow this programme.

This role is a great opportunity to continue to contribute to the development of Community fundraising for an international charity with an emotive cause, innovative plans for the future and an organisational commitment to Community fundraising.

The post holder will work closely with the Community and Corporate Fundraising Manager to enhance and implement the Community Fundraising Strategy, including leading on delivering, reporting and evaluating current community fundraising activities as well as identifying new opportunities.

You will need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Community Fundraising or equivalent and proven project management experience with the ability to adapt to challenges/changes whilst meeting income and activity targets.

We need a self-starter with strong team-working and organisational skills who takes the initiative, is forward thinking and has a creative approach to problem solving.

In order to excel in this post you’ll need a strong understanding of and experience of marketing via all digital channels, developing volunteer fundraiser stewardship plans and budget management
