interim Head of Fundraising

The 999 Club is a Lewisham-based community charity which works to reduce and begin to end rough sleeping in SE London.

We are recruiting an interim Head of Fundraising to cover a vacant senior development/fundraising post from 6th August (or soon after) until the end of Dec

Hours: P/T or F/T

Rate: Between £300 to £350 per day depending on experience

In this role you will need to:

· Handover from the current postholder until 31 Aug

· Begin to deliver the fundraising targets for our budget year Sep18-Aug19

· Manage a small team: part-time Fundraising Officer, external Comms (media & social media) support

· Maintain relationships and reporting to existing funders

· Research, write and submit up to 10 high quality multi-year funding applications plus 5-10 local foundations - mainly to trusts, corporate and HNWIs

· Manage community and other events through your team

· Take the lead on the fundraising function & work with the CEO and a Board member to develop a new Fundraising Strategy
