The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

This role is based in the Individual Supporters and Events directorate. It is within a unit of six executives and a coordinator, some of which are regionally based led by the Head, Individual Supporters and Events who manages workflow and support to our Events programme around the UK which brings in around GBP 7m annually.

Event income comes from Special and Active Events and the department also leads on engagement and stewardship activity that will enhance and deepen our individual supporters and legacy pledgers' relationship with the work of The Trust and young people.

This role supports the Events team in developing and delivering a range of events in accordance with the Trust's budget and delivering agreed targets. You will also support the delivery of major events (GBP 200k +) registering attendees and supporters, liaising with suppliers and providing general administration support working with allocated roles in project teams.

The role is responsible for excellent stewardship of supporters and building relationships with event participants; providing them with up to date fundraising and training information and advice, this includes managing enquiries over the telephone, via email, the website and face to face.

You will play a key role in organising smaller events such as gala balls and dinners, corporate hospitality-style events, industry specific events and the supporting the delivery of Third Party event relationships where The Trust is a beneficiary. The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check
