The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated fundraiser to maximise income from our key relationships and support new business across the South West region and Wales. Based in either our Bristol centre or Cardiff office, this is an important role in for the regional philanthropy team given our plans to open a new flagship centre for Wales in the next year.

Demonstrable experience of securing income from trusts and foundations and/or major donors and securing new business essential.

The role is offered as full time 12 month contract, working alongside our Bristol based Head of Philanthropy. The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
