Regional Fundraising & Events Officer

Winston's Wish is an outstanding and well-established national charity providing support to children who have been bereaved.  We were the UK's first childhood bereavement charity - supporting bereaved children since 1992.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team, based out of our Head Office in Cheltenham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented fundraiser to generate income and promote awareness of our work by supporting our volunteer community fundraisers in their efforts to raise funds for Winston's Wish and to manage the charity's run and challenge event places, working with the fundraisers to maximise income.  As part of the regional fundraising team you will also help to devise, plan and manage Winston's Wish led events and campaigns.

You will be a great team player, with excellent organisational skills and a positive, can-do attitude.  We are looking for a confident communicator - someone with a warm and persuasive personality who has the ability to build personable and effective relationships.  Previous experience of managing volunteers and a good understanding of fundraising best practice - as well as empathy for our cause - would be an advantage.
