If you are a real people person, organised and looking for a job like no other, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and committed fundraiser to join our Wiltshire team.

This is a permanent position, based at our office in Devizes, and will primarily cover Trowbridge, Melksham, Chippenham, Marlborough and surrounding areas.

When you join Julia’s House, you are not just joining a local charity; you are becoming part of our family.  We want someone who is passionate about making a difference in their local community. You will love building relationships, public speaking and working closely with volunteers.

You will be capable of inspiring and influencing others, carrying out your own project management and administration.  You will be a self-starter, highly organised and have strong multi-tasking skills to provide support to a number of fundraisers across the county.  You will also use your creative skills to develop and implement innovative ideas for generating income.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and retaining a diverse range of community fundraising supporters, activities and events and provide sufficient support and guidance to current and new supporters in their fundraising activities.  Engaging with local businesses and a broad spectrum of community groups, you will work to maximise income through building strong relationships.  You will also manage current volunteer friends groups and support other community and event volunteers, as well as assisting in setting up new volunteer groups.

Hours to be worked daily across the week and will include some evening and weekend work, so flexibility over working hours is key. A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes are essential.

Amongst other benefits, we offer 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.  Please go to the Jobs page of our website to learn more about what we offer.
